Sightseeing in paris: I went for quite a nautical look which ties into the location quite well. I picked out this blue striped crop from topshop as the weather may not be the best in Paris, however you can get away with this tee in all weathers as if it's hot you can wear it alone or if it gets cold you can throw on a cardigan or jacket. I picked these high waisted levi jeans for the bottom half as you need to be super comfortable if you are going to be out and about sightseeing all day and these jeans are loose and airy and won't be uncomfortable when walking around; they also tick the stylish box too. I love the Jeffrey Campbell Coltrane shoe. They are so on trend but you also know they will be comfortable as they are Jeffrey Campbells. I love the chunky heel and hardware on these babies but the cut-out detailing on them makes them not as 'wintery' and closed in. I went for a gold chunky chain which compliments the stripes nicely, brown sunglasses and a chunky belt for the jeans; the silver hardware compliments the silver hardware on the shoes too.

Cocktails in New York: I went for this plain black dress with an interesting strap design on the back and a racer front. I really like this dress because even though this is a plain black dress, these details add something different to the dress and make it more interesting. I decided to go with metallic silver accessories; these chunky platform heels from Topshop would definitely turn heads as you walked into the bar. I think metallic accessories are a bit more toned down than full on metallic dress for example, however this statement material is still captured in the form of these shoes and the bag. I love the wooden platform as it again adds something different to the outfit and also adds more colour in a way to an outfit that could be otherwise quite plain. The bag is from Zatchels, I think it would go really well with the shoes and would tie the whole look together, plus I can't go anywhere with a small bag so this would be perfect.
